This piece grew out of studio experiments and hikes in Virginia. Layers of printed and found elements, drawing, paint, and mark making, including an anthotype print created from plants found on the trail.
While rooted in process, the finished piece reflects ongoing interests in our relationship to nature, science, and the traces left by time, observation and inquiry.
